Inspired by Degas and all of his beautiful paintings of ballerinas, I have been focusing on my own series of ballerinas these past few weeks. This watercolor has been a fun one to create! Figures are my hardest subjects, but I am so glad I faced my weakness. Lesson learned this week: Don't give up. Do something hard, even things you don't think you are good at. You might surprise yourself. So much of our strengths are found in our weaknesses. This piece would be beautiful in a children's room for a girl, a focus piece for the living room or as a gift for someone who loves to dance and or loves ballerinas!
