I love to read! On those days when I need some time to myself, I love snuggling up with a good story and a warm cup of tea, but this piece was not just inspired by my love for books. It was made as a reminder to myself to pause and take some time out for a good story. We each have a story uniquely our own. Just a few weeks ago, I was able to put my story together after 20 years of searching for my birthfather, I now have a face and a name. You see, I was adopted and finding out my story; who I am, has been a journey of mine since I turned 18. Well, I am happy to say, I have finally found my story. So, because of all this, I was inspired to paint this piece. I even added my favorite little bird to come and keep me company! Hope you enjoy!
