Artist's Description
I believe this is one of my first paintings where I decided to add a person. Usually I just stay with landscapes and leave the people out, but while on a trip to New York, I visited Central Park and this lady was sitting on a bench with a book. Somehow this moment captured my artistic side and I had to take a picture of this scene. I think without the person in this painting, it wouldn't be the same piece. Central Park is an amazing place if you have never been. I tried to capture just a small bit of it's glorious beauty.
